About Me:
I am a singer/songwriter from Northern Ireland. My song writing skills started after I had taken my guitar to the Ukraine for mission work. Whilst playing I'm in the Lords army at a children's home a young girl who had looked very sad began smiling and clapping her hands as I was playing . I remember praying on the way home and saying to the Lord that it had been worthwhile to take the guitar all the way to the Ukraine just to bring a smile and a moment of happiness to that young girls face. Since I came home I felt the Lord guiding me to write songs and to date I have composed 179 Christian songs. Some of the songs are praise and worship and others are like singing tracts to reach the unsaved. You can also find me at my main site on www.shoutlife.com/josephbeggs and www.myspace.com/josephbeggs
I write and record all my songs at home on a Boss BR 1200 digital recording studio with a 40gb hard drive that burns the CDs as well. All my songs are done in the one take and if something goes wrong then its back to the start. I play Ovation semi-acoustic guitars. My best guitar is a limited edition 2003 Ovation but my favourite and the one I use on most of my recordings is a black Ovation pinnacle deluxe. I have also recently purchased a Takamine G Series EG 523 SC which is a beautiful guitar with a beautiful sound.
Over the past 10 years I have been involved in missionary outreach to the Ukraine and have visited many Orphanages, Hospitals, Churches, Prisons ,Rehabilitation Centres and a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre as well as 2 Christian Schools. I have had the joy of seeing many precious souls come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. As well as the mission outreach I also believe in practical Christianity and many 40 foot containers of humanitarian aid have been sent to the Ukraine and Belarus. Containers have contained Life support machines, heart monitors,Ultra Sound machines, electric
beds,Hospital beds , wheelchairs, and clothing and shoes for the orphans etc.
At present I am involved in gaining support for 200 children and to build a Christian school for them in Jinja Uganda.
I would also love to be involved in more festivals or praise events for charity or worthwhile causes.
I believe a gift given should be a gift shared.
My prayer is that as you listen to the songs that you may be encouraged in the Lord. If you feel led to purchase a song then all money raised will be going towards building the school for the children in JINJA.
Thank you for reading and thank you for listening. May the Lord encourage bless and guide you each and every day.
Your brother and servant in Christ

As we exited the airport we meet Pastor Catalin from Suceava Maranata Baptist Church and we hopped on the bus to the train station. On the way there I noticed that international landmark no matter how poor a country is, McDonalds… Continue
